it annoys me that i have to be careful in saying
“girlfriend”. REALLY?! REALLY??? I’ve noticed when i say, “i was talking to my girlfriend _____”  or “my girlfriend called me the other day” or whatever people either brush it off  OR i get these weird looks and i can almost see the little wheels in their heads spinning thinking, “wait, is THAT why she’s single?”  Really people?...
