perfect group date.
“what will you have?”
“i’ll have the same thing you’re having-i’ll love it”
-why must you always say the right thing?-
thank you for opening doors, making thai for 4 turn into thai for 2, showing me what a “dunker” is (amazing with the hot cocoa), for singing me a love song in tagalog and for keeping God first.

“Single Christian women are looking for that “special” someone. When you find a man who is passionate about God that makes them special. Men who are passionate about God are a special breed. That’s the kind of “special” God wants for His daughters.” —

sigh, thank you for reminding me that there are still guys out there in love with Him instead of the world.

“God has a perfect plan for your life. More than likely, that plan includes marriage, and if so, somewhere in this world God has the perfect person for you. You may or may not know this person right now. If you spend all your time and energy trying to hunt this person down or (if you’ve already found this person) trying to contain him or her until you can marry, you might actually do that person a disservice. For now what’s most important to realize is that the guy or girl you will one day marry doesn’t need a girlfriend or boyfriend (even though he or she may want one right now). What that person really needs is someone mature enough to spend the season before marriage preparing to be a godly wife or husband.” — I kissed dating goodbye-Joshua Harris

markmuldez:

These past few days I had the opportunity to have some time with myself. Feels so good to not work for a few days and just take a breather from school, work and church stuff. I’ve spent some time having breakfast, lunch and dinner with God. It was just really a solitude time with Him through eating. It’s great you should try it! And during those days, I also sought God for opportunities for me to minister to someone. I was asking God to lead me to a specific person that He wants me to show and give love.
So one Wednesday morning after my last final, I went and head back to my town and I was literally ‘prowling like a lion’ looking for someone to bless. The first thing in my mind was a homeless person on the street that I can just talk to and just take out to lunch. Unfortunately, I found no one. So then I just went home and chilled at my house. I thought about calling some people and invite them out to eat lunch with me but for some reason, I didn’t feel like doing that. I’m weird sometimes.
But one thing that the Lord spoke to me about was the whole idea of having lunch and coffee with our friends, specifically our Christian friends. I think it’s easy to reach out to our ‘Christian Friends’ and say,

‘Hey let’s hang out sometime, let’s have coffee, lunch etc.’

But how easy is it to ask your non-christian friends to lunch or coffee?
You know exactly what I’m talking about. You and I would rather prefer to hang out with people that we feel comfortable hanging out with, rather than with someone else especially if they don’t know Jesus. Not that hanging with your christian friends is wrong, I’m not saying that, what I’m saying is, are we taking a step to really minister to other people besides our very own ‘church friends’?
I think there is a time and place for fellowship with our fellow believers in Christ, but at the same time, let’s not forget that we also have a huge responsibility to take the gospel out and share Christ love whether if its with a homeless person, or a co-worker or a friend, everyone needs to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ but it has to start from us.
Proclamation without Demonstration is useless.
To say and proclaim that we are Christians yet we lack to demonstrate, or vice versa, is really an act of hypocrisy. God definitely challenged me this week, and I hope to challenge you as well.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. - James 1:22

Grace and Love in Christ, Mark M.

You are My witnesses.’ says the Lord, ‘and My servant whom i have chosen’ ” Isaiah 43:10
Our personal relationship with Jesus will have a direct bearing upon our success in witnessing for Him. And how can we pass on to others what we don’t have in and of ourselves?
Those around us met not only hear our good words, they must also see our good works, for in so doing they will se the power of God working through us, and the Spirit will challenge them to recognize the possibility and blessing of God’s presence in human lives. Christianity isn’t only a title that we claim but also an empowering relationship that we enjoy.

davidmhur asked: Awesome blog. God Bless.

Glory to God!!! Have a blessed weekend and continue serving Him.

“The disciples were busy looking at the magnitude of the crowd and the paltriness of the resources among them. But Jesus, the Bread of Life, was “looking up to heaven” (Matth 14:19). He demonstrated to the disciples the place where their eyes, and ours, should eternally focus. With our eyes fixed toward earth, we cannot see what God will do for us. But with our gaze fixed on heaven, we will not fail to see how God will supply that which we lack in every instance if we only place what we have in His hands.”
